The things people ask before they buy — no fluff. For the full picture, see how the method works or what Section 82 actually involves.
Any modern desktop or laptop browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari) on Windows or Mac. It’s a single offline HTML file, so there’s nothing to install — you just double-click it. It’s built for a computer, not a phone screen; the online Member Portal (Complete and above) is the way to check your case from a phone.
The offline Toolkit stores everything in your browser on that one device — nothing is sent anywhere unless you add the optional Sync & Evidence Storage add-on. The only real backup is your browser or device itself: back it up (or the whole computer) the way you normally would. The copy/print views inside each tab are for sharing or printing a letter or your diary, not a way to save your case and reload it later. If your browser data is cleared, an unsynced case is gone — that’s the main reason Sync exists.
Not automatically yet — there’s no bulk import from a notebook, spreadsheet or another logging app. You’d re-enter existing entries by hand, which for most people is a short one-off task worth doing before you start using the Toolkit day to day.
Referenced, not stored inside it — you log a note and a reference against each diary entry (date, what it was, where the file lives), and keep the actual audio/video files yourself. The Toolkit isn't built to hold large media files directly.
Email support for using the product itself (hello@noisecasepro.co.uk) is included on every tier. No one reviews or advises on your specific case — this is a self-help product, not an advice service, and nothing here is personalised legal or acoustic advice (see our Legal & scope answers below).
Email hello@noisecasepro.co.uk with what you found. A genuine fault in the product is fixed and you’re sent the corrected file, regardless of tier or how long ago you bought it — that’s separate from, and not conditional on, the Court-Ready "Kept Current" update service, which covers the law or process changing rather than something being broken.
The written method and the Case Toolkit are built and maintained by the same team (an acoustics professional is behind the Expert Standards Briefing specifically — see Legal for company detail). Content is checked against the current law and process as changes come up, not on a fixed public schedule — Court-Ready’s year of "Kept Current" notifications is the one tier with a stated re-issue commitment if something changes.
Court-Ready includes a year of "Kept Current" update notifications with a fresh download link. Essentials, Complete and Professional don’t include an ongoing update entitlement — what you download reflects the law and process as understood at the time of your purchase.
Essentials: PDF guides and templates only, no software. Complete and Professional: everything the Toolkit generates — letters, the Next Steps plan, your diary and correspondence log — as on-screen text you copy or print; editable Word versions are included alongside. Court-Ready adds the one-click compiled Court Bundle export (diary, correspondence, checklist, deadlines and letters as one ordered document).
Setup is a few minutes — double-click the file, add your case details. The real time cost is the habit afterwards: logging each incident as it happens, which takes under a minute per entry but only works if you keep doing it. A thin, inconsistent diary is the single biggest reason a case stays weak, whichever tier you buy.
Essentials if you mainly want the guides and letters. Complete (most popular) if you want the Case Toolkit that keeps your diary, scores your case and writes the letters. Professional if you may go to court. Court-Ready bundles everything plus a year of updates.
Because these are digital products delivered instantly, all sales are final once your files have been accessed — confirmed at checkout. This doesn't affect your statutory rights if a product is faulty or not as described.
Every tier is a one-time purchase — pay once, download instantly, yours to keep. No subscription. (Court-Ready includes a year of 'Kept Current' updates.)
Yes, any time, and you only pay the difference between what you paid and the tier you're moving to — never the full price again. There's no time limit, and your diary entries, correspondence and case details carry straight over, since a higher tier is the same Toolkit with more unlocked, not a separate product. Email hello@noisecasepro.co.uk with your receipt to arrange it. If in doubt, start with Complete, which covers most people.
You file the complaint yourself, so there’s no solicitor bill and court fees are modest. Our pack gives you the templates and a ready-made evidence bundle — the main outlay is your time.
Start with the free 30-second check: it reads your situation and points you to the right first move. From there the pack walks you through each stage in order.
Logging apps like The Noise App are good for building a timestamped record, and plenty of councils use them — but logging isn't enforcement. If your council still hasn't acted, that same evidence is exactly what you need for a Section 82 case.
You can, and plenty of people do. A general writing assistant still needs you to supply, organise and check the information yourself — it doesn't know your diary, your correspondence history or which legal basis applies to your situation unless you tell it correctly every time. Noise Case Pro gives you a predefined workflow and reusable records built for this exact task: your evidence in date order, the right legal basis cited, structured the way a stretched team can assess quickly. The advantage isn't that AI can't write — it's that the Toolkit's letters are built from evidence you've already logged once, not retyped and reorganised from scratch each time.
It won't prove the exact decibel level, but it shows the character, timing and pattern of the noise and backs up your diary. Councils and courts weigh it alongside your written record.
That's common — and your diary captures it. A gap doesn't reset your case; a documented pattern over time is often more persuasive than a single bad week.
For many people, yes — it's specifically designed for individuals to bring their own case when the council won't act. The free check gives you a read; the Section 82 guide explains it in full.
Councils have a statutory duty to investigate, but very few complaints end in prosecution — against 306,956 domestic complaints, prosecutions numbered in the low hundreds. Section 82 is your route when they don’t act.
No. Noise Case Pro is information and guidance built on a documented method and the Environmental Protection Act 1990. It isn't legal advice and no outcome is guaranteed. For advice on your specific circumstances, consult a solicitor.
No — the whole pack is designed for you to act yourself, including a Section 82 case at the magistrates’ court. Noise Case Pro Ltd is not a law firm and is not regulated by the SRA or any legal services regulator.
Yes. Tenants have the same right to act on noise nuisance, and there's a route for leaning on landlords, agents and freeholders too.
Yes. The method, law and templates are built specifically for England & Wales, with notes where Scotland and Northern Ireland differ.
No honest product can promise that. What the pack does is give you the strongest, best-organised case the method allows, and the routes to pursue it properly.
The downloadable Case Toolkit runs entirely offline on your own device — if you use only the Toolkit, your diary, recordings and evidence are never sent to us. The optional online Member Portal stores your case data securely so you can reach it from any device.
Instantly. After checkout you download your files straight away — the guides, templates and, on Complete and above, the Toolkit. Everything is yours to keep.
You download everything instantly and it’s yours to keep. Court-Ready includes a year of update notifications with a fresh download link.
